Great for the price. Only a couple days old.
What a great idea! No propane or charcoal to buy or fuss with! There is no assembly, just take it out of the box and it is ready to use. I especially like that it is non-stick for easy cleaning. It's great for a quick steak!
Versatile and portable kettle style electric grill for outdoor use. The 1,600 watt grill provides accurate heat with instant control and adjustment. Great for outdoor cooking in less time than with charcoal. The grill is easy to assemble and to clean.
If you've never used a Raclette, it's a SUPER fun way to spend an evening. Because of the prep work to make the food fit into the little cooking trays, this is not going to be the kind of dinner you have often. Too much work. However, for something fun to do with the family or a couple of friends, this is a great way to dine. This raclette seems to heat evenly and get to a nice, solid temperature. Clean up isn't difficult and the material seems as if it will be durable. I've used the raclette two times and both times had a good experience. I would definitely recommend this purchase.
I like the this table real, handy nice to have inside the condo since can not have gas grill
This is better than fondue. Whole family gathered around and made their own dinner selections. Everyone talked to each other during this experience. Awesome!!
At first, we weren't real sure if this product was exactly what we wanted, but we gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised with its performance. The only things I would change if I could would be for the manufacturer to add a glass top to the unit for a better cooking experience, and to make the frame that holds the grill/griddle less sharp to the touch as it is real easy to cut your fingers on it if you aren't careful. The cooking surfaces are very easy to clean, but make sure not to use any utensils or cleaning products that may scratch them. Maybe a more durable surface material or coating would be better for future consideration
We have had so much fun with this raclette electric grill! It’s honestly one of those things that’s hard to fully explain — it really has to be experienced. It turns dinner into a shared activity where everyone gathers around, cooks their own food, and enjoys great conversation together. A family-style meal centered around good food and time together… what could be better? The grill does take a little while to heat up, but once it’s ready it works great and keeps everything cooking evenly. Cleanup is super easy, which makes the whole experience even better. One tip: be sure to use plastic or wooden utensils so you don’t scratch the grill surface or the melting drawers.Overall, this has been a really fun addition to our kitchen and a great way to turn an ordinary meal into a memorable experience.
We couldn’t wait to enjoy this when it arrived yesterday. The meat was cooked so tender on top. No mess. The trays are nicely sized. A very fun dinner for four adults. Very easy cleanup too. We cooked chicken, lamb, pork, & steak. I found a good recipe for marinade online which made all the meats super tender and flavorful. In the trays we did potatoes with cheese, shrimp and cheese, mushrooms with butter and garlic, and broccoli and cheese. It was 1.5 hours of enjoying good company and entertaining g dinner food.
I really prefer bbq'ing on my Weber charcoal grill, but here in CA with have many "Spare the air" days where they ask us to not do certain things that will compromise the air quality. So I went looking for another way to grill on those days. My friend has an electric grill that I've used so I went looking for something like hers. Unfortunately hers was much more than I wanted to spend for my 'backup' grill. I liked the price of this because of it's price, under $100.00 and it's table sized. So far I've cooked chicken on skewers. I can see grilling corn, steak, burgers besides chicken.
Great Value for Your Money
Great grill for apartment living. Gets hot fast. There is no drip tray, used aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Had couple grease flare ups but they died out as soon as I closed the cover. Burnt fats underneath heating element give food almost charcoal-cooked flavor! Best deal I've found online.7 MONTH UPDATE:GRILL IS STILL UP AND RUNNING. NOT THE CLEANEST SET UP BUT WORKS GREAT. LEGS BROKE VERY EASILY AT THE FIRST TUMBLE. NO PROBLEM, SNAPPED THEM OFF AND USE WITHOUT LEGS ON A TV TRAY TABLE. FOUND A 5 ELL GEILL THERMOMETER AND INSTALLED DRILLING HOLE ON LID. WISH HEATING ELEMENT GOT HOT ENOUGH TO WEAR FOOD, BUT FOR THE PRICE, IT WORKS PERFECTLY.
First, this company has outstanding customer service. Put this together on a Saturday after receiving it, and the spot welded copper tang popped off the heating element. Luckily the company had sent a email when this was delivered. I used the link in the email to report the problem and they replied the next day, on a Sunday. After some back and forth to get more details about the problem, I was told they would just send a replacement grill, yes a whole new grill. Tuesday (two days later) it arrived at my front door. Needless to say, that made me extremely happy. I used the heating element out of the new arrival, and worked as expected. Finally got around to grilling with it, and it works pretty good in doors, with some issues. I included two sets of photos, four total. They show the grilling and one shows what is left over for clean up.That first grill (first couple photos), I covered the plate that supports the heating elements with foil, as seen in pictures in other reviews here. It worked fine catching the dripping juices until it started a little fire. No biggie, easy to put out. Just not good for an indoor grill, smoke alarms and all. Meat came out fine tho. Clean up involved scrubbing the actual grill, removing the heating element to access the foil, tossing the dirty foil, and wiping the inside of the grill.Second time (second set of photos) I didn’t bother to install that support plate and just covered the bowl in foil. Heating element was fine just sticking out without that support plate. That worked a lot better, as the extra distance away from the heating element avoided any fire starting. Clean up involved scrubbing the grill, removing the heating element, tossing the foil, and wiping up any leaks. Hardest part is scrubbing that grill clean, but that’s typical of any grill. Foiling just the bowl worked best for me, no fires, easier clean up.Of note, my lid sticks every time it heats up. I had to use two hands to separate/open it. Not a major inconvenience, just make sure you have two free hands the first time, not as sticking after first opening.Overall, if you’re looking for a indoor grill I would recommend you consider this one. Also, if your copper tab pops off, if you can’t spot weld it back on, drill a hole and screw/bolt it on.Of note, I bought this during one of them flash sales, but noticed it was cheaper, just slightly, a week or so later using the coupon. Either way, it’s a great buy.
This is a great electric grill. It is simple to assemble (~20 min) and it works very well. The first time I grilled it gave off a bit of a paint smell, as described in the manual, but that was the only time. I have grilled about 15 times so far and I had no issues. The grill gets very hot, and it cooks thick pieces of meat nicely. It doesn't get terribly messy, but I recommend placing some aluminum foil at the bottom to catch the grease etc. so it's easier to clean. I highly recommend it.
Very good little grill! Electric grills are so handy. Ready to go in minutes. Love it!!
